This century’s turntable:
I received the Crosley Cruise Deluxe Turntable from the Walmart Spark Reviewer program in their online community in exchange for my honest opinions and review. I was really excited to try this out because my dad still has all his records that I remember hearing growing up. I think he was equally as excited to try this out with me. I just love how they have created a record player like so long ago and updated it with this century’s technology. The turntable has a manual return tone arm, RCA, and headphones output jack, and is powered by an AC adapter. This has 3 different play speeds for selection…. 33 1/3, 45, and 78 RPM records and includes a built-in 45 adapter. This is driven by a belt with an NP6 needle. The turntable I have is the red and black colored one but I did my own research and found that this actually comes in a wide variety of colors and even different styles. It looks much like a briefcase and fold downs just like one and has a handle on it for carrying that includes a latch for locking. The outer material is made with hard vinyl and is constructed with wood and made with leather material. It’s very easy to use with its one-knob control which is located right beside the headphone jack and controls the volume and power. If you want to listen to something that isn’t on one of your records, then a phone or MP3 player plugs into the auxiliary port located on the back side of the table. There are 2 different speaker stereos which makes it easy to listen at a preferred range. I was really glad to know that they included instructions and a quick start guide in case there are any issues occurring with it and can be possibly fixed at home. It’s really lightweight too so I won’t have to worry about moving it around. I was actually surprised to find out that it is very affordable as well.
